Day 11

November 30, 2007

94.2kgs Again!

Aaarrrggghhhh!!!! This morning I checked my weight again, and I am still at 94.2kgs. Thats three days in a row. No goodies either! Today I am going to change the amounts that I am eating. Instead of eating a full pita bread at 11am and another one at 2pm, I am going to eat half of one at each time. I am also going to fill them with Tuna, sweetcorn and lettuce.

I suppose, if I look at it from this point of view. I am down 2.2kgs in 11 days. That is positive. I was down 2.2kgs in 9 days also. I measured my waist last night, and it is down to 36inchs. My target is to get it down to 34 inches by the end of my challenge. I definitely think that is achievable.

I am going to do some reading on the internet today to see what type of foods I should eat to promote weight loss. I am a little scared about using supplements. Today at lunch time I am going to walk to the shop, the long way. Tomorrows weigh in will be better.

Day 10 – Dinner

November 29, 2007

I cooked some cod and garlic mushrooms for dinner today, and had a side salad. About 30 minutes after dinner, I was hungry. I was tempted to have a desert, but decided against it. Instead, I had a bag of popcorn and a litre of water.

Not a very informative post, but I am just finishing off my work for the evening and I intend to turn off my laptop now. This (8pm) is the earliest I have finished work in about 2 weeks. It has been pretty hectic, but I have stuck to my healthy food thing!

Day 10 – Update

November 29, 2007

Today I have eaten healthily. I had my usual bran flakes for breakfast with some berries on top. Then at 11am I have a toasted wholemeal pita bread with some ham and lettuce. I went out to the shops at lunch. I had intended to walk, but I had to go to the bank to lodge a cheque, so I drove. I will make up for this later by walking to the local shop this evening.

At the shops I bought a few packs of sandwich filler. One tuna and sweetcorn, one chicken and bacon, and one chicken and stuffing. They are awesome!

I spent about 10 minutes on the power plate today too. Every time I have a minute free I turn around and jump on. It is excellent. Well, back to work now.

Day 10

November 29, 2007

94.2kgs

This morning I went for the “weigh in” with high expectations. I thought I may break through the 94kg mark. And although I ate healthily yesterday and went for a twenty minute walk to the shops, my weight remained the same. A bit of a disappointment I suppose.

Today I am going to increase my efforts. I am going to walk to the the shop, but I will go a different route, so the walk will take approximately 40 minutes, walking at a brisk rate. I will bring my ipod with me, to keep me entertained, and I recently got a new pair of Shure sound isolating earphones, which I haven’t really tried out.

Day 9 – Update

November 28, 2007

I had a good day food wise today. At 11am I had a pita bread. Then again at 2:15pm. Between my two pita breads I walked to the shop. Another one of my lifestyle changes.

This evening, I had lasange for dinner. Again it was pretty nice. It was something I would not have eaten regularly before, but it is quite tasty. I also had a couple of glasses of Adez too.

Day 9

November 28, 2007

94.2kgs

Well I am still on traack. I am down .1kg from yesterday. I had an eight hour wait between meals yesterday which wasn’t good. At least I didn’t fall into my old habbit of eating chocolate and other rubbish. I am looking forward to breaking through the 94kg barrier. My next major milestone is 90kgs. It may take a few weeks, but when I do I think I will be treating myself to something. Not sure what yet, but I will get myself something!

I have noticed that my trousers are becoming a little loose, and yesterday I had to use the next buckle on the belt that I was wearing which is a good sign. I might pick up a measuring tape, so that I can do some comparisons with my waist line.

Working from home today, so I will be back to my good routine.

For breakfast this morning, I had bran flakes, with some berries on top. It will keep me going until my 11am pita bread. That’s all for now.

Day 8 – Update

November 27, 2007

I was out with a customer today, and our meeting went on much later than expected. I didn’t get to leave their office until after 10:30pm. I ended up eating lunch with them at 1:30pm. I had a chicken caesar salad. But then I didn’t eat anything else for the afternoon. When I arrived home at 11pm, I had a bowl of berries with some yoghurt. I wasn’t happy that I didn’t get a proper dinner. I will be back to my proper health eating tomorrow.

Day 8

November 27, 2007

94.3kgs

Todays “weigh in” has me feeling good. The scales went to 94.2kgs and then just before it gave me my final reading it moved to 94.3kgs. It means that in the first week I have lost 1.3kgs. I am really happy with that. I am on the way!

I am working from home this morning, but after lunch I have to go to view a customer. Again, I am going to eat at home and before I meet my customer, and then make it home for dinner.

I didn’t get to use the power plate yesterday, so I am going to do a 15 minute workout before I leave the house today. I am really looking forward to it, because I do feel really good after it.

Day 7 Update

November 27, 2007

I was working until about mid night this evening, and didn’t get to use the power plate, but I did eat healthily. For breakfast I had a bowl of bran fakes with strawberries on top. Then I had a glass of Adez fruit juice and soya. At about 11am I had a pita bread with tuna, sweetcorn and lettuce. I had another pita bread about 2pm, and then at 6pm I had  a lovely lasange, with a green salad. It was all good. This evening I was feeling a bit peckish, so I grabbed a yogurt. And I had two litres of water during the day. Overall I am happy with my day, apart from the lack of exercise.

Day 7 – Weight Loss Pattern

November 26, 2007

One thing I noticed about the days that I have lost weight. On each of these days I have been drinking Adez fruit juice and soya drink. It contains soya protein. Is it possible that this is a factor?
