Day 82

February 9, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

84.6kgs

Down another 0.2kgs today. Very happy with that. I went out for dinner last night and I had the chicken caesar salad. I decided not to have any fries with my caesar salad, and the decision has paid off.

Today I intend to be quite lazy. There are two six nations rugby games on TV, so I am going to sit on the sofa and watch the two of them back to back, and then this evening I am going to the movies.

I will get out for a walk before the rugby, so that I have some activity today!

Day 81 – Update

February 8, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

I went for a jog / walk at lunch time today. I did my normal route, but I decided to run the 1st kilometre, and walk the second. I did the first one in 4 minutes 40 seconds, and walked the second in 11 minutes 37 seconds. I felt great when I got home.

I am heading out for dinner now, and I am going to go to the movies. Have to make sure I don’t eat any bad stuff.

Day 81

84.8kgs

I am down 0.1kg. I didn’t get out for a walk yesterday, or get on the Power Plate. I will be doing both of those things today. I have to. I am really falling behind in my challenge.

Just had some breakfast. I had a bowl of cereal. All Bran mixed with fruit and fibre.

For lunch I am going to have a pita bread with some tuna, sweetcorn and lettuce.

Not sure what is on the dinner menu, as it is friday, I may be eating out.

Day 80

February 7, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

84.9kgs

Looks like yesterday was just a blip! Today I am down 0.8kgs, and a little bit happier. I really need to get in gear for the next three weeks, or I will not achieve my goal. Just noticed than in the last week, my required daily weight loss has gone from 0.18 kg per day to 0.23 kg per day.

I am working from home today, and I am going to go for an afternoon walk and also have a workout on the Power Plate.

Day 79

85.7kgs

Today I am up half a kilo! I am assuming that it is because I ate late last night. Fingers crossed!

Yesterday was a bit of a weird day and I did eat very late. One thing that I say yesterday which I thought was really cool was at Liverpool Airport last night. They had a mini gym at the airport and I did a thirty minute workout there!

Free Mini Gym at Liverpool Airport

I am going to get back into my walking today, and fingers crossed, today will just be a blip!

Day 78

February 5, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

85.2kgs

This morning I had an early start, so my weigh in was at 5:45am. I was up 0.2kgs. I had to get an early flight this morning to the UK. My eating wasn’t great today. I had an odd breakfast; a pita bread and a banana. Then for lunch I had a Subway sub. I then had an apple in the afternoon and I had a big burger and fries for dinner. Bad I know.

My flight this morning was delayed by three hours! I was on the plane 20 minutes after it was due to take off, and then after an hour on the runway we were moved to another plane because of a technical fault. Another hour passed as we waited on the new plane, and then they told us that this plane had developed a technical fault. They then got an engineer onto the plane and we finally managed to take off, three hours late.

I saw some cool stuff in the airport in Liverpool (fitness related), but I am too tired to post it now. I will post it in the morning!

Day 77

February 4, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

85.0kgs

Down to 85kgs today. That’s a 0.2kgs drop since yesterday, but still above what I was three days ago. This week I only lost 0.5kgs. Not a great week. When I missed my walks I didn’t lose any weight. When I walk, I lose weight. Simple as that!

I will go out for a walk at lunch time today. I have friends coming over for dinner, so I don’t know if I will be able to get out for a walk this evening too.

Day 76

February 3, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

85.2kgs

This morning I woke up late and did my weigh in. I was up 0.1kg on yesterday. I expected this. After my strange diet yesterday I am not really surprised.

I went to go out to the park for my walk, but unfortunately there was an incredible downpour. I have not seen rain like that for a long time, so instead I went to the supermarket and did some grocery shopping. I will go out this evening for my walk instead.

Day 75

February 2, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

85.1kgs

Just arrived back from London now. It is 9:15pm. Last night I was out at a party and have a bit of finger food and didn’t arrive home until 2:30am. I had a 6:30am flight this morning, so my weight in at 4am was always going to be a bit higher than I expected. To my surprise I was only up 0.2kgs since yesterday!

Today in London I ate different food than normal. I had a wrap on the plane at 7am (which was a bit odd), then I had a sandwich at midday and a cup of hot chocolate in Costa Coffee, and then finally I had afternoon tea at the British Museum. This consisted of a few sandwiches and a scone and a cup of hot chocolate.

I am going to have another hot chocolate now, because I have a craving, but I did do a lot of walking this today in London. Not too confident about tomorrows weigh in due to my major diet change today, but we will see!

I am going to have a lie in tomorrow morning, because I only got just over an hours sleep last night. Tomorrow afternoon I am going to go for a long walk in the local park.

Day 74

February 1, 2008 by 100 Day Challenger

84.9kgs

Today I am down 0.5kgs. This on top of the fact that I lost 0.3kgs yesterday makes me quite happy. I definitely think the walking is playing a major part. And with my Nike + it is very good for challenging myself.

I am going to go for a lunch time walk again today. I am going to stick with the 2.25km route. My goal is to try to reduce the time but not by too much. My best so far with a walk / occasional jog is 18 minutes. Not great I know, but my goal at the moment is weight loss, and I have been told that I should not be trying to do it as fast as I can, but rather keep my heart rate between 60% and 70% of the maximum. Next week I might try to do it as quick as I can running, just to get a feel for where I am now.

Tomorrow I am off to London, so I will have an early start. 6am flight! Today I am working from home, so healthy eating will definitely not be a problem.
